UQ/Mater McAuley Library
The UQ/Mater McAuley Library is located at Aubigny Place, Mater Health Services, South Brisbane. Mater Health Services is adjacent to the Mater Hill busway station of the South East Busway, and is a five-minute walk from South Bank Railway Station. The main entrance to the Library is on the ground floor of Aubigny Place. Access is through the front and rear doors of Aubigny Place. Saturday access is through the rear door only. The UQ/Mater McAuley Library provides resources and services to support the teaching, learning and research needs of UQ staff and students and the staff of the Mater Hospitals and associated research institutes.

The strengths of the Library include paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, nursing and midwifery, medicine and surgery.
Classics of Surgery Collection
The UQ/Mater McAuley Library houses the Classics of Surgery Collection - a series of historical surgery books donated by the Neely family in memory of the late Professor Mervyn Neely.
The after hours book return chute is located at the rear of the Library. During opening hours all items may be returned at the returns chute located at the information desk.
The Library is wheelchair accessible via the rear entrance off Aubigny Place. Parking for disabled users is available near the rear entrance to Aubigny Place.
