The focus of Client Services is on front-line and faculty liaison service delivery. It is responsible for:

  • Faculty Liaison
  • Information Assistance
  • Information Literacy
  • Shelving Support

Faculty Liaison

Faculty Liaison teams provide a range of high quality services to address teaching and learning. Librarians in these teams provide services developed to support high quality research performance, including: 

  • advanced information research enquiries
  • individual research consultations
  • information literacy training
  • developing collections for your research needs
  • staying up-to-date with the literature in your discipline
  • citation analysis for grant and promotion applications
  • bibliographic management tools such as EndNote
  • research data management
  • trends in scholarly publishing

They also support the teaching of advanced information skills into undergraduate programs and for hospital staff by:

  • consulting with academic and clinical staff regarding student needs
  • conducting appropriate information literacy programs to meet those needs
