Expand your toolbox

Many stages of research, from finding materials to publishing and debating research outputs, can be assisted by online tools. The British Library, as part of its Growing Knowledge: The evolution of research exhibition, has provided a list of available tools to help you research more effectively and expand your scholarly network.

Save to the Cloud

Most people are probably wedded to their favourite browsers - whether IE, Firefox, Opera or Safari. As an incentive to switch to Google's Chrome browser, Google have launched CloudSave, which allows users to save files from Google Docs, Amazon Cloud Drive, Dropbox, Facebook, Picasa, and many other programs and applications. CloudSave doesn't work with many browsers, so anyone wanting to take advantage of the technology will have to install Chrome.
