Blackboard outage rescheduled

Dear Students,

Blackboard upgrade and service outage rescheduled

Recently all students were notified via email, and on this blog, of the planned upgrade to the University Blackboard system. This was due to take place between Saturday 2nd of July and Wednesday 6th of July.

Due to a number of technical issues outside of the University's control, this upgrade has now been postponed until the Summer Semester of 2011, and the previously announced service outage will no longer take place.

UQ is trialing Blackboard Mobile. Now you'll be able to use your iPhone, iPad, Android or Blackberry to access your Blackboard courses on the go.

Law School Wins Award

Last week the University celebrated Diversity Week, with the theme being Advancing Diversity.

As part of these celebrations the Vice Chancellor has a number of awards that are presented which celebrate Diversity at UQ.

This year the Law School was awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Equity and Diversity award for the "Asylum and Refugee Law Project".

Congratulations to all involved.
