Welcome to the Fryer Library’s new blog

As the special collections library at the University of Queensland, Fryer provides access to materials, which can't always make the digital leap. Our diverse library collections include rare books, original manuscripts, primary historical documents, architectural plans and art works.

Moot Team Success!

Congratulations to Bianca Kabel, Mitchell Beebe, Katherine Stodulka and Joshua Underwood, all members of the 2012 Maritime Moot Team.

The team recently competed in the mooting competition at QUT from 7th July -10th July 2012.

The team were awarded the Overall Winners of the competition.

The team remained undefeated in all their rounds, awarded the best written memorials and the highest ranked team in the general rounds.

University of Queensland Law Society (UQLS) Competition

In Semester 1, the University of Queensland Law Society (UQLS) is holding the Corrs Chambers Westgarth First Year Moot and the DibbsBarker Junior Negotiation Competition. Sign-on is available on the UQLS website but note that mooting sign-on closes on 11 March, 5pm.

Blackboard Training Sessions for Week 1

Due to the technical issues suffered by Blackboard during O week, Ask I.T. have scheduled some extra student Blackboard training sessions during the first week of Semester 1.

The dates and times for the extra sessions are....

Tuesday 28/2 at 10am in eZone3

Thursday 1/3 at 1pm in eZone2 and

Friday 2/3 at 10am in eZone1
