It's a killer

Heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer may not be catching, but they cause two-thirds of all deaths worldwide. Risk factors like tobacco use, an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy diets and excessive use of alcohol need to be controlled, yet the latest World Health Organization figures show that 4 out of 10 men still smoke and 1 in 11 women do as well. Around 1 in every 8 adults is not just overweight but obese.
