Try 'Grammarly' for help with your writing

For a limited time, the University is trialling 'Grammarly', an automated grammar and plagiarism checker.

Once you register with the site, you can upload a document to be checked. You can also download a Microsoft Office add-in, which will then appear as a toolbar in Word.

With both methods, you need to be online to sign in and get the feedback report.

Build your own apps

Is there an iPhone or Android application you want, but you don't have the programming skills to build one? If so, then Buzztouch may be the program for you. It's an application builder for non-geeks. Just create an account - you don't need to know any coding - and get started on building your application. You might want to check out how it works first. If that's no good, there are FAQs.
