New Display Coming this Week

Did you know:

With more than 700 building and 18,000 computers adn a population of more than 40,000 students and staff, UQ used the equivalent energy of more than 10,000 homes

What's new?

It is approaching that time of year when students are beginning to stress about assignments and exams. For the Nursing and Midwifery students help is at hand, as the library has two great, new databases.

Dadummmmmmm! Introducing Internurse and Intermed. These are the UK's largest online archive for Nursing and Midwifery.

Intermid contains all articles from the British Journal Of Midwifery since 1996, as well as the African Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health.

Internurse includes the following journals:-

Entertainment and the Law Display

Do you feel like relaxing with some light reading or dvd viewing over the semester break?

The Law Library has an entertaining collection of novels and films available for borrowing, which involve court room drama, elements of law or are authored by lawyers and judges.

These are on display at the moment on Level 2 of the Law Library.

TC Beirne's Desk

The family of TC Beirne has kindly donated his original desk to the Law School and the Law Library.

The desk has been restored and is now on display in the Law Library, outside the Moot Court.

It will remain here as a permanent display.

We ask that you come and look at the desk but the desk is not for use.
