I am in the 24/7 space at closing. What do I do?

All patrons in the library, including the 24/7 space need to leave the library at closing time via the main entrance. You need to take all your belongings with you, please do not leave books, laptops or other personal belongings in the area. This is for security reasons and all bags etc must be taken out of the library with you at closing time.

How long before I can get back in once the library has closed?

Work on the new

' UQ Law School Student Learning Centre'

will commence on 21st November 2011.

To prepare for this you will notice some changes in the Library over the next few months.

August/ September- some duplicate Library material on Level 4 will be removed from the Library.

September- Library staff will rearrange collections on Level 4

As the semester continues do you need to find a quiet study space or even need to stay at University after Library closing times? There are single study rooms, group rooms and some 24X7 areas.

At St Lucia there are two 24X7 study spaces that you can use in the Biological Sciences Library and the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library.

Week 4 - you might want to find a quiet desk, or have a group assignment so that you need a place you can talk. You might even want to stay at university later than your home library stays open.
