Useful databases to search for journal articles:
1. PubMed
Includes citations and abstracts to biomedical literature. PubMed help and
information
2. Scopus
Scopus is a multidisciplinary abstract and citation database of research
literature and quality web sources.
3. ProQuest
Proquest covers subject areas ranging from general interest to business
& accounting, the sciences and social sciences, health, medicine and
pharmacy as well as computing and telecommunications.

Health & Safety Science Abstracts
This database is contained within ProQuest and provides a comprehensive,
timely survey of recent work relating to public health, safety and industrial
hygiene.
5. ScienceDirect
Scientific, technological and medical full text and bibliographic
information published by Elsevier Science.
6. TOXNET
This free-of-charge search interface provides access to the TOXNET system of
databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, and related areas.
7. Medline (Via
EBSCOhost)
Contains citations and abstracts covering a broad range of medical topics
relating to research, clinical practice, administration, policy issues, and
health care services.
8. SAI Global on-line
premium (formerly Australian standards online)
Contains Australian and selected international standards. Search for
Australian Standards by Standard number or keyword. Full text standards are in
PDF format.

OTseeker is a database that contains abstracts of systematic reviews and
randomised controlled trials relevant to occupational therapy.
