Visiting the UQ Library

The UQ Library welcomes school groups to our branches throughout the year. We want your students to have the best experience possible. The following information is provided to help you make the most of your time at UQ. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss this further.

Year 11 Students

If your students have not visited the UQ Library before, we invite you to book a tour and training session.
Year 11 students are eligible to apply for a borrowing membership of the UQ Library. Find out more about secondary school student borrowing.

Year 12 Students

If your students have not visited the UQ Library before, we invite you to book a tour and and training session.
If your students have had a tour of the UQ Library, another tour may not be essential.
- Online tours of our branches and tour handouts are available to help returning students and staff familiarise themselves with the Library.
- Online resources, including subject guides, are available to download and use during your visit.
UQL Cyberschool staff offer tailored training sessions to assist students to undertake research on a topic or to use specific databases. We invite you to book a training session.
