Apply for UQ Alumni library membership
- New graduates
New graduates are eligible for one year of free membership, following graduation1 or completion of your program2. Membership is not automatic. Please complete the application form for new graduates and submit it online.
- 1. Membership will be for 12 months from the date of graduation not from the date of application
- 2. If you apply before the date of your graduation, then 12 month membership will begin on the date you apply and end 12 months from then
- Other graduates
All other graduates should complete the application for alumni
membership form and submit it either in person at the Library, by fax (+61
7 3365 6888), or scan and email the form to circ@library.uq.edu.au.
Cost
Graduate membership costs $75 per year or $50 for 6 months. The first year
after graduation is free upon submission of the application form for new graduates.
How long will it take to
process my application?
In most cases, applications will be processed within 5 working days.
Renew your membership
You can renew your membership in person or by telephone. A new application
form is not required. The Library does not send renewal reminders.
Library card
A library card is required for borrowing. If you do not wish to borrow books or other materials, please indicate this on your membership application form. You will not require a library card but a library number will be provided for access to electronic resources.
