About Visual Thesaurus

What is Visual Thesaurus?

VT features include:

Visual Thesaurus (VT) is available to all students and staff when purchased and access is available from any Internet connection, at the library, school or at home and can be used with a white board or by an individual at their desk. Also, there have been tremendous changes to VT:

It can search across other databases, making it a true cross curricular tool. If your school pays for other online resources you can pull in pictures or detailed copy from them, with out ever leaving VT. As a bonus the usage in your other online tools increases as they can now be accessed through VT.

VT translates into 5 languages.
VT pronounces all English words in a human voice.
VT contains lesson plans.

The VocabGrabber is a new tool which allows you to create vocabulary lists from your textbooks, online articles or even a student's essay. You can then import the lists into our Spelling Bee and create your own customized Spelling Bee around whatever subject or curriculum you are covering.
