The ultimate internet reference tool, World Book Online is the natural evolution of our respected World Book Encyclopedia, designed specifically for use by school students.
World Book publishes a fully revised print edition every year, so you are assured of the editorial integrity and currency of our online product, which is updated on a daily basis.

World Book Online contains not only every article from our current 2001 Print Edition (plus over 3,700 more), but also offers links to over 15,000 websites (all checked by our editors), articles from hundreds of periodicals (sourced through EBSCO), and our entire catalogue of Year Books, from 1922.
