      Seminar Overview

      Information technology and electronic information continue to develop at an ever increasing pace. Issues to be considered in this seminar focus on the essentials of locating, linking and learning online and assisting students in the transition from school to university.

      Topics to be covered include: how to choose and implement a learning management system in a school; webcasting, streaming and webconferencing solutions for libraries; federated searching and Open URLs; latest developments on the web and school intranets, electronic pathfinders and the management and delivery of digital resources to students.
