The 6th UQL Cyberschool Seminar is a celebration of ten years of the UQL Cyberschool supporting school communities with access to quality, scholarly, online and print resources. The seminar addresses the future of students' interaction with online information and the part libraries play in using technology to meet their information needs.
Topics included: supporting flexible learning needs of students in an Independent Learning Centre; meeting the 21st Century information needs of scholars; educating educators; connecting online at the State Library of QLD; innovative information and communicatons technology and a week in the life of a new media librarian.

2007 Seminars and Presentations
In response to feedback from UQL Cyberschool members the seminar addressed the importance of gathering evidence to improve the practice of librarianship in school libraries. Speakers also discussed the impact and influence school libraries have on student and lifelong learning.
Topics included: evidence based practice in librarianship; using evidence based practice in a school library; and results and the implications of research undertaken in school libraries.
