For an institutional submission, all journal articles within a Unit of Evaluation (either a 4 digit FoR or a 2 digit FoR where there are insufficient numbers at the 4 digit level) will be profiled by the ranked journals relevant for that discipline.
- For a Unit of Evaluation (a FoR code) for a given institution this will show the total number of submitted journal articles and the proportion of submitted journal articles that fall within each of the tiers (A*, A, B and C).
- There will be two benchmarks provided for each tier – the percentage of all submitted articles within the FoR within the tier (i.e. aggregated across all institutional ERA submissions to give a national percentage), and the indicative world distribution (as provided by the data provider).
