The Research Information Service (RIS) provides support to researchers through all stages of their research lifecycle.

Librarians in the Research Information Service can assist you with:

  • advanced information research enquiries
  • individual research consultations
  • information literacy training
  • developing collections for your research needs
  • staying up-to-date with the literature in your discipline
  • citation analysis for grant and promotion applications
  • bibliographic management tools such as EndNote
  • research data management
  • trends in scholarly publishing

The RIS team also supports the teaching of advanced information skills into undergraduate programs and for hospital staff by:

  • consulting with academic and clinical staff regarding student needs
  • conducting appropriate information literacy programs to meet those needs
