Continuing Your RefWorks Account after Graduation

To continue using your RefWorks accout after graduation, you must first have created your account while at UQ, then after graduation you must update your user account.

If you have an existing EndNote library it can be also be imported into RefWorks.

  • Connect to RefWorks via the UQ Library website
  • Enter your RefWorks Log-in name and password
  • Select Update Profile from the top menu bar
  • Select Update User Information
  • Change 'Type of User' to Alumni

Importing an EndNote library to RefWorks

  • Select References\Import from the RefWorks menu bar
  • A new window opens, expand the From EndNote Database section
  • Browse for and select your EndNote library (.enl)
  • Specify a folder to import your records into (optional)
  • Click Import at the bottom of the Import window
  • Your records should automatically appear in the Last Imported folder.
