Why use referencing software?
You can:
- save time creating and managing your references
- enter references yourself or import references from a database or catalogue
- easily create a bibliography for your thesis, assignment or journal article in your preferred citation style. For further information, please refer to Referencing Style Guides.

The Library has a phone service (07) 33656063, Monday - Friday, 9am - 4.00pm and an email service for more detailed help enquiries about EndNote.
Other options
There are also many free referencing software products available which are not supported by the UQ Library.
Macintosh users may prefer to use the software Papers. There are some online tutorials and a forum.
