Help with publishing if English is not your first language
This information is for authors whose native language is not English. There are many resources to help with professional editing of research papers, reports, book chapters or PhD theses if English is not your first language. Many of the major journal websites include links to services. Most of the sites include a disclaimer that the expert assistance provided by these services does not guarantee acceptance for publication, and that any costs incurred are the responsibility of the author. Language input at UQ
Are you aware that you can have your choice of input language on UQ Library public computers?
Apart from the well-known European languages such as Italian, French, Greek and Danish, the public computers also have the following choice of language inputs - Tamil, Farsi, Arabic, Hebrew, Sanskrit, Chinese (PRC and Taiwanese), Japanese and Korean. This list has grown from a default list to a "provide on request" list (currently totals 18 language inputs) to meet the needs of UQ's growing and diverse international student population.
