Output styles

What is an Output Style?

Output styles are files that are used to control the appearance of references in a bibliography.

The name of the style refers to the journal or publisher that has defined the bibliographic format.

Styles can be modified and new styles can be created using EndNote's style editor.

A style file can be used with the Windows or Macintosh version of EndNote.

Finding the Correct Style

Only a limited number of output styles are loaded to your computer when you install EndNote.
