Importing full text (PDF files)
Endnote gives you the ability to convert your PDFs into Endnote references, using the Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
To import PDFs:
1. Open the library where you'd like the references added.
2. Click on File and choose Import. Click on
File.
3. In the window that opens, click on the Choose button and
locate the PDF you wish to convert into a reference. Select it then click on
Open.
4. In Import Option, select the PDF
option.
5. In Duplicates, choose one the following options:-
Import All: All references, including duplicates, are imported.
Discard Duplicates: No duplicates are imported.
Import into Duplicates Library: Duplicate references are imported into a
library called library nameDupl.enl.
6. In Text Translation, choose No
Translation.
7. The new reference is stored in the Imported References
group. This group is temporary and will disappear when you exit from the
library. The reference remains in your library.
