The University of Queensland Library has negotiated a site licence for RefWorks, which permits all eligible staff and students of the University to use the software both at work and at home. The Library's Policy details Support for referencing software help.

RefWorks allows customisation of output styles. Although the Library’s Referencing Support Team can give some guidance on the customisation of RefWorks, it cannot provide support for users who have extensively modified output styles. Customisation should only be undertaken by those who have the necessary IT skills and sufficient understanding of referencing conventions.

The Library’s Referencing Support Team can only provide very limited assistance with technical problems resulting from hardware or software malfunction. Normally such problems must be referred to the manufacturers of the RefWorks software.

For more detailed help enquiries about RefWorks, the Library has an email and phone service (07 336 56063), Monday - Friday, 9am-4.00pm.

The email and phone services are not available weekends or public holidays. If you send an email or leave a message you will be contacted when the service is next available.

 

Limited help is available for after hours service. Please also use EndNote training materials for some common problems. The following Library help services may be useful.
