What is the Law Library Blackboard page?
The Law Library Blackboard page has been designed to help students studying law to improve their legal research skills. It includes 4 learning modules covering Getting Started in the Law Library, Secondary Sources of Information, Case Law and Legislation with podcasts that can be downloaded and practice quiz questions.
Where is it?
To view the site login to BlackBoard and click on Law Library Information Skills under Semester 2.
How do I enter?
Submit your completed entry form in the box near the Law Library autoLOAN machines, or send an email with your proposed name for the Blackboard site and the reasons for your choice to law@library.uq.edu.au (remember to include Blackboard Competition in the subject line).
Who is eligible to enter?
Current students studying law at UQ and staff of the UQ Law school.
Who will judge the competition?
The competition will be judged by a library panel including Law Library Manager Julie Oates.
When do entries close?
Sunday, 15 November 2009.

- Only current staff and students of the UQ Law School are eligible to enter.
- Law Library staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
- Entrants may submit more than one entry.
- The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The judging panel reserves the right to not select a winner from the entries received.
- In the case of multiple entries of a similar nature, a random draw will be undertaken to determine the winner.
- Entries close Sunday 15 November 2009.
