When should I request items held by the Library?

If you search the Library Catalogue, display a catalogue record and discover that the item you want is:

  • held by a branch library on your campus and is out on loan
    OR
  • held by a branch library on another campus (including Warehouse)

If you are on the campus where the items are located, you are expected to retrieve them yourself.

If you want to place a hold on one volume of a multivolume set, please ask at the Loans Desk in your branch library.

How do I request items?
