The Rural Clinical Division (RCD) Library service is provided to the following client groups:
UQ RCD library services are available at
Bundaberg,
Hervey Bay,
Rockhampton and
Toowoomba - the RCD's key teaching locations.
Management and coordination of the Rural Clinical Division (RCD) Library Service is undertaken by the Health Sciences Library Manager at the Herston Health Sciences Library in consultation with the Executive Manager, Biological and Health Sciences Library Service.
The RCD Library Service manages the PDA Service to third year MBBS students undertaking the Rural Medicine Rotation. Information about this Service is available from the
PDA website.
There is now a specialised website designed to help MBBS students to access key resources.
Annually the Rural Clinical Division Library Service produces a report on its achievements and progress made throughout the year. For the interest of library users and the general public these reports will now be made available online.
