Tracking Changes

Tracking Changes

If you are researching the history of an Act it is important to understand how it has changed since it was first passed. This means identifying what amendments have been made to it over time. This is known as 'tracking changes". This information appears in the 'Notes' or 'Endnotes' at the end of the reprinted act. This applies to both Queensland and Commonwealth legislation.

Once you locate the piece of legislation you're after, scroll to the end of the Act, and locate the 'Notes' or 'Endnotes'. A list of legislation and a list of amendments can be found within.
