Try searching one of the core Science databases listed below or another from the library website.
Use the UQ Library website to access the following databases. (hint: if you can't find it easily do a title search in the catalogue). Always access through the UQ Library website to access free full text.
Database 1: ScienceDirect - full text
Covers a wide range of subject areas including: biological and life sciencs, agriculture, animal biology and science, medicine, business and management.
Try searching for your assignment topic or an example topic (i.e. global warming).
ScienceDirect can be searched much like Google.
Database 2: CSIRO Online Journals - full text
Covers Australian and international content in the areas of agriculture, aninmals, botany, health, marine science, plants, rangelands, soil science, veterinary science and zoology.
Database 3: Web of Knowledge
Covers a wide range of subject areas including: biological and life sciences, agriculture, forestry and biosciences, animal biology and diversity.
Try searching for your assignment topic or an example topic (i.e. global warming).

Database 4: PubMed (Veterinary Science students)
Covers a wide range of subject areas including veterinary and human medicine.

Worldwide business periodicals for information on advertising, marketing, economics, human resources, finance, taxation, computers and companies.
