Your home library is the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library at St Lucia. If you are based at the Ipswich campus then the UQ Ipswich Library is your home library.

UQ also has collections available at Herston, Mater Hospital and PACE/Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The Biological Sciences Library is open to all students as a 24/7 study space. 24/7 study space is also available in the DH Engineering and Sciences Library.

The Library has 15 Branch Libraries. Check out the Branch Locations where you can view floor plans, read about subjects covered by that branch, watch a virtual tour and check the opening hours for each library.

There are 24/7 study spaces throughout the Branch libraries.

As a UQ student you are entitled to access, borrow and use all of UQ Library's resources. The Borrowing Summary page has a link for Undergraduate Students which summarises all of the key aspects of the library you will use throughout your degree. Visit the Borrowing page and familiarise yourself with your borrowing entitlements and responsibilities.

You should now be able to answer the following questions:

(a) Name one of your responsibilities listed on the Undergraduate Borrowing webpage.

(b) What is a Recall of a standard loan and how are you advised of this?

(c) What value do your overdue charges have to reach before fines are payable?
