ARTS finding full text
Search results from Summon and databases provide bibliographic information about journal articles which are essential for referencing (title, author, year etc.). Often these details are accompanied by an abstract (summary) of the article and links to the full text of the journal article.
To access the full text online look for the following:
Summon: access to the full text is available via the online icon. Click on the icon to open the full text.
Databases: access to the full text is often available via the "Get it at UQ Library" link.
Tip: Look for a PDF version of the full text. This will help you with referencing as there will be page numbers.
Some journal articles will only be available in print. To access print articles, search the catalogue for the journal title and find the call number and location for the print journal. Proceed to the shelves to find the article.

- Remember, if at first the full-text of the article isn't available, always search for the title of the journal under 'journals' tab to see if the library has it. Then check the volume / issue / year details to see if the library holds the correct volume that contains the article you are looking for.
