Black and white photographs of Papua New Guinea, showing people and places in and around Rabaul, Edie Creek, Lae, Bulolo, Wau and Salamaua. Scenes from Rabaul include indigenous and European people, aeroplanes, buildings and beached whales or porpoises. Photographs of Edie Creek and Bulolo include depictions of mining camps and mining operations. Wau scenes include buildings, pit sawing, the airstrip and a crashed aeroplane. Each photograph has handwritten identifying notes on the back.
