Slides, 16mm film, black and white photographs and a few miscellaneous publications. The photographs were taken as part of Vellacott-Jones’s work as an official photographer with the Papua New Guinea administration.
Kathleen Vellacott-Jones was a Canadian journalist during the Army occupation of Papua New Guinea. She later joined the Papua New Guinea administration as a public relations officer, working mainly as an official photographer.
