OCE TCS500 scanner
Many of the Architectural plans were encapsulated in Mylar
to reduce damage during the scanning process.

400dpi / colour / tiffs

Items less than A3 in size

Canon HP Canolide Flatbed Scanner

400dpi / colour / jpgs

Digital cameras were used to capture images where material was asssessed as too fragile ; too large ; too difficult to scan.

Digital capture software

Images were scanned using a variety of software: Adobe Photoshop, The Gimp, IrfanView, Zoomify. Images created for web presentation have been slightly enhanced, but digitized master images have been retained for future requirements.
