NO computer equipement in Group Room 3 (BSL)

To whom it may concern,

I arrived at the library this morning to find that the group room had no mouse, mini-mac or keyboard - thus making it impossible to use the room as anticipated. When I reported this to the security guard at the front desk, he seemed to imply that I was responsible for its absence. He was unable to make any suggestions as to who I should contact regarding this matter or as to what could be done.
Fortunately, I was able to change the room booking and secured the use of a fully equipped room for the period of my tutorial.
Would there be any way that people booking rooms could be alerted to the fact that it is not fully functioning? I had prepared a variety of work for my student and would have been unable to complete this work if I hadn't been able to change my room booking at the last moment. If rooms are detailed as having this equipment, then surely it must be someones responsibility to ensure this.
Thank you for your time in dealing with this matter.

Regards
Tim

Thank you for your feedback about the computer equipment in group room three of the Biological Sciences Library. Unfortunately, the computer equipment in the room was vandalised and removed for repair. The Library could not supply replacement equipment straight away. Apologies for the inconvenience that this caused you, but I am glad that you were able to change rooms to complete the work.
