Thank you for your comment. The Library has over 50 professional librarians who are employed across a range of disciplines. Librarians are regularly moved within the system to meet organisational goals. In 2011 there will be a Research Information Service - made up of librarians who will support the research needs of the university populations and a Teaching and Learning Service that is tasked with meeting the needs in that area. There will be professional help available as part of a research triage model, where more detailed needs will be dealt with by librarians. In the SS&H Library a Librarian will be located very close to the Research Help desk.
