Various suggestions.
It's always to cold in the library - the aircon is always so high its freezing.
The cleanliness of the library isn't the best - I have noticed various stains on tables that have stayed there for weeks. All tables should be whipped over everyday. It could do with a bit more vacuuming to. Also the computer keyboards are disgusting. Over the weekend the bins are not emptied which leaves downstairs smelling pretty bad.
I have also noticed the lack of study spaces - Gatton UQ is growing I think it would be nice if there were a few more areas to study.
It would be nice if the top leave of the library "Quite individual study" would be monitored for noise regularly; it seems the library staff don't care if people are talking - or half the time it's them making the noise.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you find the air-conditioning too cold. I will have the sensors checked. The air-conditioning plant is quite old, but does a remarkable job under trying circumstances.
The Library cleaners also work hard to keep the Library as clean as possible to start the day. If you feel there are items that need special attention, please bring it to the notice of a Library staff member, who will pass the information along to the cleaning staff. There are no cleaning services over the weekend. There are rubbish bins outside the Library that can be used. I would hope some personal responsiblity regarding proper disposal of food scraps would be employed by individual students.
The computer keyboards are cleaned regularly, however they are very difficult to keep clean. Cleaning wipes have been supplied to be used when necessary.
Your comment about lack of space has been noted, and is on the Library 'wish list' as well.
If you are concerned about people talking, please feel confident to approach the individuals concerned to ask them to reduce the noise level.
