Why not buy Economic Geology

Dear UQ library officer, I am studying economic geology, and I am grateful that UQ has bought two important articles in this filed: Ore Geology Review, Resources Geology and Mineralium Deposita. However, it is a pity that Economic geology, the most important journal in mineral deposits, is not bought. I think most journals in GSW (Geosicence World) have been in our library except Economic Geology.

Comments

UQ Library has both print and electronic subscriptions to the journal Economic Geology.

The print holdings are located on the third floor of the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library at TN260 .E26. These holdings run from v.1 (1906) through to v.107 no.5 (2012). It should be noted that a few issues published prior to 1975 are missing.

Online access is also available for all articles published since v.95 (2000). The link to the UQ Library subscription is http://ezproxy.library.uq.edu.au/login?url=http://economicgeology.org/.

Full details are available via the library catalogue at http://library.uq.edu.au/record=b1023214~S7.

I hope this information is of assistance.

Thank you for your help. I thought Economic Geology was not bought by UQ, when I searched the journals before the year of 2000.
