YOUR SCHEDULE

I DEFINITELY CONSIDER THE LIBRARY (SOCIAL SCIENCES) HAS TO BE OPEN MORE HOURS. iN MY COUNTRY ECUADOR the universities both public and private have a more extended schedule.
LIBRARY SHOULD BE OPEN DURING THE WEEK MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 8AM TO 9PM AND ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDALYS 8AM TO 8PM.
I HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY ADVISED TO GO THE BIOLOGY LIBRARY WHICH I DID TODAY BEFORE NOON SINCE THIS LIBRARY WAS CLOSED TODAY AND I ENCOUNTERED A SITUATION WHICH YOU WILL NOT FIND IN THE LIBRARIES OF BIG PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES!!!!!!!!!!
I tried to find a computer and an empty space for me at noon and on the four floors there was no space and all the computers were occupied. Besides, if I had brought my laptop , I would have had to work sitting on the floor which is not for my dignity since I am an English professor in my beautiful country Ecuador!! Besides, on Friday to do a very long software assignment, I brought my laptop and the tutor (a private one) could not get the internet connection in my laptop. YOUR TECHNOLOGY IS A MISERY, IF YOU COME TO ECUADOR, YOU WILL SEE THAT IT FUNCTIONS MUCH BETTER THAN HERE.
Returning to the Biology library issue, I only found ONE COMPUTER AVAILABLE AT THE RIGHT SIDE ENTRANCE ON THE FIRST FLOOR BUT IT DID NOT WORK! AS EVERY PROBLEM HAS A SOLUTION, THIS IS SAID IN MY COUNTRY, I ASKED FOR HELP TO THE GUARD IN CHARGE AND I DECIDED TO USE THE COMPUTER THAT WAS FOR PRINTING EXPRESS, BUT COULD NOT USE IT BECAUSE EVERY THREE MINUTES STUDENTS CAME TO PRINT SOMETHING AND I HAVE TO BE CONSIDERATE FOR OTHERS AS WELL, WHICH I DID.
I LEFT THE LIBRARY TOTALLY DISSATISFIED AND CAME TO THE SOCIAL SCIENCES ONE AND IT WAS CLOSED. I DECIDED TO EAT MY CARROTS (MY LUNCH) AND WAITED PATIENTLY AS OTHERS DID.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND WE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS RECEIVE AN EMAIL, PRIOR TO HOLIDAYS REMINDING US THAT LIBRARY IS CLOSED OR WHAT THE SCHEDULE IS. I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO BE INVESTIGATING AND SEARCHING AND FINDING OUT SCHEDULES. SINCE I CAME HERE, I HAVE TO STUDY VERY HARD SINCE I AM WITH A SCHOLARSHIP FROM MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY AND HAVE TO GIVE AN EXCELLENT FEEDBACK, WHICH I QUESTION MYSELF, HOW CAN I PRODUCE A POSITIVE FEEDBACK IF THE TECHNOLOGICAL CONDITIONS ARE VERY POOR AND THERE ARE NO COMPUTERS AVAILABLE WHEN I WANT TO USE ONE????
PLEASE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ALL MY SUGGESTIONS AND GIVE A PROMPT SOLUTION TO THEM. AS AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT I COME HERE TO LEARN, TO ABSORB THE AUSTRALIAN KNOWLEDGE AND CULTURE AND NOT TO WASTE MY TIME AS I HAVE BEEN DOING WITH TECHNOLOGY AND FINDING A COMPUTER TO BE COMFORTABLY SEATED AND DO MY RESPECTIVE WORK.
IT REALLY SHOCKED ME THAT I COULD NOT FIND A COMPUTER TO WORK ON THE FOUR FLOORS. I ALWAYS THINK IF THIS HAPPENS IN ECUADOR, MY FATHER SAYS "IT IS A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY , UNDEVELOPED AND DISORGANIZED" BUT I CAME TO AUSTRALIA WITH VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS WHICH HAVE BEEN TOTALLY REDUCED TO ZERO WITH THINGS THAT I SEE DAY AFTER DAY.
TO A CERTAIN EXTENT, I FEEL QUITE PLEASED THAT THIS EVENT THAT MADE ME WASTE ONE HOUR OF MY PRECIOUS TIME OF SLEEPING!!! I AM ONLY SLEEPING 5 HOURS PER DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OCCURRED TODAY, SO I WILL REALIZE THAT THINGS IN AUSTRALIA DO NOT WORK WELL AND IN UQ AS WELL, TOO.
GIVE ME A SOLUTION AND DON'T MAKE ME WASTE MY TIME AND MY SLEEP!!! SINCE I DID NOT COME TO AFRICA OR ASIA. I CAME TO AUSTRALIA!!!!!

I DO NOT HAVE ANY MORE PATIENCE TO COPE WITH THESE SITUATIONS, I HAD A DIFFICULT HEALTH PROBLEM AND DOCTORS INE CUADOR ADVISED ME NOT TO HAVE ANY STRESS. BUT TODAY I HAD STRESS DUE TO POOR ATTENTION OF THE LIBRARY AND LACK OF COMPUTERS AS WELL IN THE BIOLOGY LIBRARY.
