Suggestions
A few suggestions encouraging logic and common courtesy:
1. People should not be allowed to sit at a desk that has a university computer and not use it. If they do not need to use the computer there are plenty of desks without computers all over the uni. It is rude and inconsiderate. There is a massive shortage of computers at uni already.
2. While there are designated talking/quiet areas, excessive noise should not be allowed.
3. Signs should be put up in relation to the above two suggestions, and security should enforce these rules too.

Thank you for your feedback about studying in the Library. The demand for Library computers is very high throughout semester. There is usually a queue of patrons waiting for a computer to become available. Computers that are not being used will automatically log out after fifteen minutes. A message on the screen confirms this. Any machine that is at the log out screen is available for use. If someone is in front of the computer, but not using it, you should assertively, but politely, ask them to move.
Signage designates Library quiet study areas. Patrons are required to undertake activities in these areas that do not interfere with the study of others. If someone is interfering with your ability to study, you should make them aware of this. If the disruption continues, please seek assistance from a Library staff member.
