Use of group rooms at BSL

Hi,
I've had really bad experiences while studying at BSL.
The rooms are hardly ever available for group studying/discussions as a single person books an entire room to him/herself.
The groups in the rooms are really noisy and continue to make a ruckus even after asking them to keep it low and reporting to the security. I had a group of students playing cards and having a feast in the BSL room 3 level 3 right now. They have been at it for 4 hours now!

I hope the libraries find some way of ensuring that these spaces are not misused.

Thank you for your feedback about studying in the Biological Sciences Library. The facilities in BSL are always in high demand so it is a concern to read that some patrons are misusing the group rooms. To date, students have managed their own use of the facilities very well with minimal intervention required. Level 3 of BSL is devoted to group discussion, so might get noisy. Level 4 is a quiet study area. I encourage you to report any future misuse to the security officers on level 1 of the Library, who will be able to assist.
