Study Area during examinations
Hi there,
The BSL and other libraries with extended opening hours are very packed during the examination periods. This problem gets worse during the night when many braches of UQ Library is shut for the day.
Would it be possible for UQ Library to provide additional study areas during the examination period by extending the closing hours of some library or providing additional self study areas??
Cheers

Thank you for contacting the Library. We understand the Library's study spaces are in high demand during the exam period and we now have three 24/7 study areas - the Biological Sciences Library, Level 1 of the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library and Level 2 of the Law Library. The Library will monitor use of these areas to determine the extent of the demand for study space outside of normal opening hours and use this information when considering opening hours during the next exam period.
