Noise in Mater Library

It seems that people freely talk in this library, especially in its computer room, and librarians do not take any measures whatsoever to discourage it. In fact, librarians themselves talk as much and even louder than some people.

I have been using this library for three years now and I just cannot tolerate it any further.

I suggest putting up big signs on the walls to remind people to talk quietly.

I'm sorry that your Library experience was less than satisfactory. Conversation is permitted in most areas of the Library including the computer room (eZone) and near the Information Desk. You may wish to use the Library's quiet zones: near the journals and at the back of the Library in the Sr Eileen Pollard Reading. Signage in these areas will be considered as a reminder to Library patrons.

Please feel free to discuss your concerns with me next time you visit the Library. I hope that your next visit to the Library is more rewarding.
