Library Temperature
I have bought it to the attention of the library staff before but nothing is being done about it so I move around from library to library trying to find one that is a comfortable temperature and none of them are. The libraries are always too cold, especially now that it has gotten into the colder months. It is hard to study when all you can think about is how cold it is, even when you're rugged up in jumpers and jeans. The libraries where I have had the most trouble with the freezing temperatures is the Hawken Engineering Library and the Biol. Sciences library. I can honestly not feel my hands as I am typing this. Thank you for your time and I hope that you at least consider doing something about this.

Thank you for your feedback about the air conditioning in the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library and the Biological Sciences Library. Air conditioning sensors in the Library are programmed to maintain the temperature between 19 and 23 degrees. There are many sensors in all areas which monitor conditions. A faulty sensor can lead to temperatures beyond normal limits. So it is important to mention the area in which you are studying so that this can be checked. However, comfort within normal temperaure limits is a personal thing which can vary between individuals according to the time of day, outside climate conditions and individual physiology. I have sent your comments to the University's supervisor of air conditioning systems for investigation.
