Library Logout

So I've been working on something solidly for two hours and then I'm writing in my books for a while/addressing textbooks. Log out occurs. And I lose everything.

Why? (No recent document retrieval either).

I'm sorry you lost your work. Assuming you were on a Library workstation when this happened, you should have received pop-up notifications warning you the machine would shutdown 15 and 5 minutes before it happened. If you can tell me what machine you were using (or what area you were in) and when it happened, we can check this is working correctly. You should also (depending on the area) have heard an announcement on the public address system warning you the Library was closing.

Of course, the biggest lesson to learn from this experience is to regularly save your work - save early and save often. It's so easy to do and can avoid such a lot of grief.
