Hello
I note from the above link that this film has been ordered over a month ago but has not yet arrived. One of the staff in the high use area suggested I send this email to ask if there is any way I can receive an email notification to say when it arrives as I am eager to watch this.
If not that is OK, I just thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
Thank you
Rebecca

To whom it may concern

I would like to suggests more female toilets for the Gatton campus library. Currently only 2 toilets are available for ladies and this just isn't enough. Often people have to line up to use them and they can become terribly smelly and dirty! For ladies working in the up stairs level it is quite inconvenient to have to walk down stairs just to go to the toilet. During peak usage of the library such as now these toilets really become quite revolting. PLEASE consider placing more toilets up stairs if funding is available to improve the library facilities at Gatton campus.

Regards,

Anna

Hi, the following book is in 2 volumes but the system registers it as the same book. So while one of the volumes is available, there is no way of putting a hold on the other volume.

Mineral Processing Plant Design, Practice, and Control , Volumes 1 and 2, Society of Mining Engineers of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers, Littleton. (Call Number TN504 .M56 2002)

Also, is there any chance for you guys to get pdf versions of this book?

Thanks,
Jonathan

I use Duhig quite library frequently. During my first semester this library especially level 4 and 5 really quite. But now it becomes really noisy. some people use individual room as a group discussion in which their voices can be heard from outside and sometimes people ignore "quite study" sign and they talking or discuss in lockable desk without consider others. I just wonder, is Duhig has security that can help people to warning these noisy people so that they are aware and know what quite study area for.

Thank you

Hello,

I would like to request an ebook version of this book be purchased and added to the library catalogue. One print copy of the 2nd edition is currently held by the library based in Gatton, however I feel that this is insufficient. This book is a highly valuable resource for anyone studying ecology, resource utilisation, resource selection, and other landscape ecology projects. There are two copies of the 1st edition (1993) held by the library, however there were major changes made for the second edition, including the incorporation of management and use of GIS data, which make the first edition insufficient for many applications.

Book details below:

Manly, B. F. J., McDonald, L., Thomas, D. L., McDonald, T. L. and Erickson, W. P. 2002, Resource selection by animals: statistical design and analysis for field studies, 2nd edn, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Dordrecht, The Netherlands.

I have discovered that this is available as an ebook (eISBN: 9780306481512), so I thought this would be a more cost-effective solution for the library than multiple copies of the print book since it is quite expensive.

Thanks very much.

Kind regards,
Naomi

Would it be possible to put the following sign on the Main Door of the law library: After hours entry is off the Great Court near the Michie Building. UQ ID card necessary.

I came in on the weekend and tried to enter through Forgan Smith. I am a part time student so not as familiar with the campus as full time law students. I only found this information on the website after I returned home (having studied in another library).

Hello

As a remote student currently completing my PhD with UQ, it is very inconvenient having to return books after 3 renewals when I have not finished with them, only to reborrow them, costing both myself and the library unecessary postage costs.

Suggestion: As University of Sydney library has done - they have instituted unlimited renewals unless a book is recalled with the incentive that fines of $10/day apply for books not returned by the recall date.

fyi: http://www.library.usyd.edu.au/borrowing/

A good system, with surrogate 'home' storage as well, and I believe a lot smarter.

E
