Scuba Diving Tourism. Contemporary Geographies of Leisure, Tourism and Mobility

Ghazal, Musa & Kay Dimmock

First published 2013 by Rutledge

This book has interest to me in Environmental Management looking at the damage caused by Divers to Shipwrecks. I suspect that it would also be of value to Tourism students.

Could this book be purchased for our library?

Over the Semester break the library appears to have changed/upgraded the printing systems in the library. However, in doing so, the most important feature, in my opinion, the ability to print from my laptop seems to have been lost. The old system no longer works, and the printing setup instructions list nothing about how to print from laptop's without a somewhat clumsy save to USB and print from that - not exactly ideal compared to the old system.

With the extremely heavy usage of computers in the library, being able to print from my own computer in the library or elsewhere on campus has been really good. Being without it so far has been very inconvenient already - and once the libraries start to get busier as assessment deadlines arrive, it will no doubt get even more so. Is this feature coming back, and if not, what plans does the library have on this issue?

Many Thanks,

This "feedback" section is very interesting and useful. You imply on page https://www.library.uq.edu.au/feedback/add that "feedback" will be answered but I don't see much in the way of library responses to our comments and requests. For example, in June I requested that a thesis be acquired for the library, one that I need for my research, but I have no idea whether you will be getting it or not. This is a bit frustrating! Incidentally the thesis is:
Jennifer O'Meara, _Alchemists, Epics, and Heroes: The Rhetorical Construction of the Seventeenth Century Experimental Philosopher_ 2007 diss, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Available from ProQuest http://search.proquest.com/docview/304858323
If we are not going to buy it, I need to know so that I can access it in some other way.

Thanks!

Dear sir or Madam,
I found the following book really useful while there is only one version at the library. that would be great if the lib order more copies of the book( at the moment I am in a list to get the book)

Author Zandbergen, Paul A., 1968-
Title Python scripting for ArcGIS / Paul A. Zandbergen.
Imprint New York : ESRI Press, 2013.

Summary
This book is a guide for experienced users of ArcGIS® Desktop to get started with Python scripting without needing previous programming experience.
