The light in Group Room 6 of the Law Library at St Lucia is flickering. It is quite dark if turned off. Could someone please fix this?

Is there any chance a copy of this book could be moved to the Law High Use section as it seems to be a highly sought after book this semester.

Please help do something to stop the noisy slams whenever people get in and get out the GEBL Lab in the Colin Clark Building. I can even feel the vibration. The problem is very serious since they are so many students using the lab during semester end. Can you adjust the hinge and put an air cushion at the door? Please.

Could we please have a binding machine in the dentistry library to bind lecture notes and assignments together. Griffith university offers a free binding machine facility in their general printing areas at most Griffith university library's. if Griffith offer it to students, then why not UQ?
It would be nice to not have to travel to Griffith Southbank every time I want to bind my notes together or bing an assignment for submission. Thanks

Please reduce the air conditioning in the uq libraries it is unnecessary to have it this cold. After a hour of sitting still trying to study it is too cold to focus anymore. Thanks

Hello

I recommend the library purchase the following book:
Parisian, Catherine M. "Frances Burney's Cecilia: A Publishing History." Ashgate Studies in Publishing History, 2012.

The book will add to both UQ's collection on 18th century studies and on the history of the book, the latter being an area of research strength for the School of EMSAH.

From the blurb:
'Catherine Parisian's publishing history of Cecilia is an invaluable resource for the study and teaching of Frances Burney's most important novel. Parisian's history is an extraordinary work of scholarship, the sort of book a scholar might be expected to produce at the end of a lifetime of study. More is known about the writing, printing, illustrating, distribution, and critical reception of Cecilia than perhaps any other book in the late eighteenth century, making it a key text for the discipline of book history in this period, and Parisian is our vade mecum to the history of that book.'Geoffrey, Rutgers University-Camden, USA

Thanks!

Hi,
I want to give a suggestion about the environment of quiet study on Level 5, the Duhig Tower.

The users of individual rooms assume that they can talk as loud as they prefer since they are in their 'own' rooms, no one could hear them outside the room. But they do not know the sound insulation is actually no good at all. Could you please make a post or an instruction in the individual rooms to let the users know the truth. We, who study outside in the study area are suffering the noise of their laughters, phone-talking, loud reading, singing, etc.
