Hi,

Can I recommend purchasing these two important books. They are relevant and very necessary to my research

Title: Educational measurement / sponsored jointly by National Council on Measurement in Education and American Council on Education ; edited by Robert L. Brennan
Published Westport, Conn. : Praeger, 2006

Title: Building a validity argument for the Test of English as a Foreign Language / edited by Carol A. Chapelle, Mary K. Enright, Joan M. Jamieson.
Publication Details: New York : Routledge, 2008.

Thank you.

With the vast amount of international collaboration at UQ, it would be very useful to have access to language learning software. Mango Languages is an online database with over 40 languages available. I used this program at my previous institution to learn Dutch and found it to be of very high quality. They also offer English for learners from many different lingual backgrounds. This would be helpful for all of the international students and staff at UQ who want to continue to improve their English skill.

Kind regards,

It is wonderful to see so many classes run by the library to help students with their studies, but I work full time and study at night at UQ, would it be possible to have a late afternoon/evening or weekend classes for post graduate students? I am interested attending an assignment research session you are holding on Monday March 25 4-5pm but was unable to find other late afternoon courses.

I was very keen to attend a number of Library training sessions this Semester but have found upon examining the training schedule that most of the classes seem to be held only on certain days and at the same times (ie. one week a certain session is at 10am, the next week it is at 11am; the session is offered at the same time a few weeks later at the same times and then it is never offered again). This timetabling makes it very difficult for some students with contact-intensive courses to attend Library classes and the Library should vary its training schedules to allow more students the opportunity to attend or provide the full content and resources of the sessions online.

there is most likely a common server from which all of the bookmark tabs on the internet browsers have been obtained from.

can you please change the "eLearning @ UQ" bookmark web address to 'learn.uq.edu.au' as opposed to the OLD 'elearn.uq...' address as the old address simply doesn't even work - it doesn't even redirect to the new address. I'm sure there are many people who are frustrated by this and it is a simple problem to fix
