I would like to request that the library provides access to Criminal Justice Abstracts database. I am based in the Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security at ISSR, and am responsible for performing systematic reviews in crime and justice. CJA is a key international criminology database that is essential to our work. Could you please contact me to discuss this matter.
Kind regards,
Angela
For ENGL1100, the following course book is required for Semester 1, and there is only one copy in SSAH Library and one in Fryer Library:
LC Call number PR8135 .M229 / ISBN 978 1 74175 440 7 (hb) - Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature / Jose, Nicholas (ed).
Could additional copies be ordered, please?
Pace has a wonderful library with excellent facilities and I do enjoy studying in Pace. However, it gets really noisy in the group rooms and even the quiet study zones with groups gathering and laughing. I do hope that librarians can try to reinforce that it is a library and it is a quiet study zone so as to not disturb the other students who are trying to study.
Thank you.
Hello, I would like to request if it would be possible for you to add to the library collection an online version of a book (e-book). This is because at this moment, there are only 2 physical copies of the book at the library and this is a HIGHLY used material so it's nearly impossible to get it. Although I've seen that you already have requested another 4 books due to the high demand, I think the e-book would be an excellent alternative resource because it's always available.
Here you can find the details of the book:

Thank you very much,
Santiago
Dear Gatton UQ library staff
I am currently in hospital at Ipswich Hospital and won't be able to return to the book at the present moment. I am hoping to get a medical certificate.
Yours Sincerely
Natalie
I would like to make recommendation of purchasing the new book titled 'The Graded Motor Imagery Handbook'. This follows on from their really helpful 'Explain Pain' book which UQ library currently hold copies.
Authors: Prof. G. Lorimer Moseley, Dr David S. Butler, Timothy B. Beames, Thomas J. Giles.
ISBN: 978-0-9872467-5-2
Illustrations and diagrams. 143 pages
Website: http://www.noigroup.com/en/Product/BTGMIB
I believe 'The Graded Motor Imagery Handbook' is a great resource for patients, as well as physiotherapists who treat people in pain.
Thank you for your consideration.

With the vast amount of international collaboration at UQ, it would be very useful to have access to language learning software. Mango Languages is an online database with over 40 languages available. I used this program at my previous institution to learn Dutch and found it to be of very high quality. They also offer English for learners from many different lingual backgrounds. This would be helpful for all of the international students and staff at UQ who want to continue to improve their English skill.
Kind regards,
Robert
